Miles for Matthew

The 5th annual Miles for Matthew 5K will be held on May 5, 2018. All proceeds go to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. RMS will have a contest to see which grade can raise the most money. Paper shoes will be sold at lunch Tuesday, 4/24 - Friday, 4/27 at a cost of $1.00 per shoe (Thank you Student Council!). The winning grade will have a popcorn lunch. Please help support JDRF!

High School Color Guard Tryouts

8th graders - It's time for High School Color Guard tryouts! Any student interested in being apart of the award-winning  RHS Color Guard is encouraged to attend the clinics and audition held April 23rd-26th. For more information please see Mr. Roemer or Ms. Cavano in the band room.

State Assessments

State AIR assessments begin next week students! Official assessment dates at RMS are: 4/18 & 4/19 (all grades ELA), 4/24 & 4/25 (all grades Math), 5/1 & 5/2 (grades 5&8 Science).

Field Day Shirts

Field Day t-shirt order forms are being passed out today in homeroom and anyone interested in purchasing them must return the form and money to Mrs. Allen or Mr. Brooks by April 27.  If you did not get a form see Mrs. Allen.

2018-19 9th Grade Scheduling

8th graders will be receiving a printout of the 9th grade courses you previously selected with your counselor during homeroom on Wednesday, 4/4/18.  This is the last opportunity for you to make any changes. If you wish to make changes they must be done in writing and require a parent signature.  Only those making changes need to return their forms which must be in by this Friday to Ms. Jeffery, in the RMS office.

Spring Break

Ross Local Schools will be closed March 26 through April 2nd. School resumes Tuesday, April 3rd.

Running Rams

5th and 6th graders - Join Running Rams this Spring! The cost is $20 which includes a cool T-Shirt, the opportunity to meet some students who share your interest, improve your health through running, and most importantly have some fun. If interested see Miss Honaker in room 403 or ask your homeroom teacher for an informational flyer. Registration ends April 6th!

Camp Invention

5th graders - Let’s invent the future today at this summer’s Camp Invention! Ross Local School District is partnering with the National Inventors Hall of Fame to provide Camp Invention, a unique elementary summer enrichment experience with a science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) focus for children in our community, June 11th-15th. The camp will be at Ross Middle School this year. Early registration discounts are available and end MARCH 23rd so don’t miss out on this exciting opportunity.
