Congratulations to the Alpha Girls, Ross Middle School’s all-girl LEGO League team! At the Ohio State FLL Robotics competition held in Dayton’s Nutter center on February 8th and 9th, competing against the top teams from across the state, the girls won THREE trophies by earning three major awards, the most individual awards handed out to any one team!  First they received The Inspiration Award, given to the team empowered by the FLL experience and who displays extraordinary spirit.  Next, the judges recognized the Alpha Girls with The Coopertition Award, given to the team who does their best to help others while remaining fierce competitors themselves.  Finally, the team earned The E.P.I.C. (Engineer, Play, Inspire, Create) Award for exhibiting contagious and inspirational energy and excitement.  Julia Antoine, Isabella Saylor, Katelyn Rousch, Emmie Blum, Sarah Johnson, Mackenzie Powell, Grace Hall, and Maya Soundappan showed Ohio what RMS students can do!
