RMS Wrestling Wins The First Ever SWOC Championship

The Ross Middle School Ram Wrestlers traveled to Talawanda to compete in the first ever SWOC league tournament.  RMS walked out victorious as they brought home the first ever SWOC title!  The Rams scored 211 points to Harrison's 145 points to win the championship.  RMS outdistanced their competition by putting 9 wrestlers into the finals and managed to capture 6 individual titles.  Claiming 1st place for RMS were Jake Gentry, Brandon Balzer, Tyler Balluaer, Hunter Spears, Jack Kluener and Karson Chasteen.  Rams finishing in second were Brett Hannon, Austin Hamblin and Drew Slay.  Zach Colegate and Zach Ponder finished in third place, while Michael Dorst, Micah Fields and Michael Carroll finished fourth.  The Ram wrestlers finished the season with a dual record of 16-3.  They also finished 2nd at the Ram Duals, 1st at the Ross Holiday Duals, 3rd at the Franklin Invitational, 3rd at the Lebanon Invitational, 2nd at the Williamsburg Invitational and 1st at the SWOC Championships.  Congratulations to all the Ram wrestlers on a great season.
